Grammar Note

In Tagalog, states of being like hunger or thirst are expressed with the adjective first, followed by the pronoun (e.g., 'Gutom ako' - 'I am hungry'). For physical discomfort, the pattern is often 'Masakit ang [body part] ko' (My [body part] hurts).
